New season - wht r u watching?

Of course, I'm looking forward to the return of Heroes, and later on, Lost. Distinctly missing Buffy and even Alias.
But the new shows...what should I watch?
Here are my thoughts for now:
Chuck (the tale of a geek turned spy) seems like it might be appealing.
Reaper, the story of a boy whose parents sold him to the devil, might be good too. I've watched the first episode of Beauty and the Geek (oh, how I love that show, I admit it, it's like delicious evil caramel popcorn.)
But good female-centric genre-crossing action? I'm feeling a little "eh" about the Bionic Woman, probably because I'm old enough to remember the first iteration...

Ryan and I watched the first couple of seasons of Weeds...it is interesting and well-plotted, tho' lacking in geek-factor ;)

Aha! You must have that fancy "pay-cable" I've heard so much about...
I have to wait for all the Showtime/HBO shows to come out on DVD (I love Extras...)

The first season of Weeds is out on DVD—and well worth it, though the series darkens, particularly the current season. Speaking of strong female characters, I've gotten hooked on The Closer on TNT.

'Course I'm still mad at the WB/CW/whatever the heck they are for canceling Veronica Mars. That writing and wit almost kept up with Buffy.

I'm spending a fair amount of time cycling through the Whedon oeuvre—finished up Firefly and now watching the fifth season of Angel before going back and starting with Buffy, season one....
